Map 1: Quarry - Capture the flag

Round 1:

We started off confident and had a balanced attack and defend. Flags was running from each base but no one was able to cap, until some poor defending saw them cap 2 flags with ease, we tried to pull it back but they held out and mananged to get another back, making it 3-0 at half time. Second half we tried to reclaim some pride and attacked hard, but they had a strong defence which was able to hold us off for awhile, until we eventually scored (By me). We kept pressuring them to gain more points but it was hopeless, and we lost 3-1.

Round 2:

After our poor performance in the last round, we stepped it up and push hard for the flag. After afew tries, staber managed to get a flag home, closely followed by me with another flag to give us a strong lead. They pushed to reagain some points but by now, BsE had control on the round and i managed to get us another flag home to make it 3-0 at half time. Second half we held out with a strong defence, with me keeping pressure on them by attacking. We held out strong and with me causing their defence problems, we managed to get another flag home to finish them off to win the round 4-0.

Round 3:

Back on form, we started off as planned, but the other team played just as well. With both teams locked equally, it would seem no one would score in the first half, until BsE caught a break with me scoring a flag to give us the lead into half time. Once again, we played a strong defence to keep the lead, but again, our defence was shoddy and they scored 2 flags in no time at all. But we pushed on to try and get at least 1 flag back to draw it. After some failed attempts due to strong defence, we made a last "Do or Die" effort which payed off in our favour. With lime house running the flag back with only afew seconds left, we didn't know if we could make it back in time, but he did with only moments to spare, to make it 2-2 and sudden death. In sudden death, me and mole rushed up as the rest defended, but mole was picked off, leaving me to smoke the flag and run in unchallanged to claim the flag and win us the map.

Round 1:

Both teams started off well, deadlocked with neither team looking to score. But within the last min, they managed to make an opening and scored a flag. But we counter attacked straight away, with lime scoring a flag for us in remaining seconds to make it 1-1 at half time. Second half we attacked strongly and put them under pressure, not long after we scored a flag, with lime following it up with another to give us a good lead. Since then BsE took control of the game and got another flag back to secure the round win 4-1.

Round 2:

We was on the wrong side to attack, so we held out a strong defence, knowing they would push hard to make up for the last round. We held our own very well, and lime managed to bring a flag back to give us the lead we needed when going into the second half. 1-0 at half time. Once again, 1-0 at half time on a deciding round, we put up a strong defence. They attacked strongly but we held them off with comfort and took control of the game, with lime bringing us back flags with ease. A slight error gave them a flag, but we didn't care as we had such a strong lead of 3-1, then we finished them off with a final flag to make it 4-1 at the end, to win us the round and match.

Summary:

Was a good a very enjoyable game, great sportsmanship and little hassle from them. Of course, we have to give them credit, as they gave us a good game and was able to take advantage whenever BsE made a hash of things. Lets not forget that this ends their long winstreak aswell, which they must be gutted about and rightly so. But a rematch anytime they want and we wish them the best of luck on the ladder.
