News time, ladies and gentleladies.

If you're a fellow community member, you'll have noticed a lot of differences
within the previous weeks, incl. a major website update.
Some might even know we'll soon have our birthday, as a clan. Our 5th birthday already!

We felt this was the perfect time to kick things off and start some things fresh from start.
One of those things include a couple of new website banners.
For this though, we've got a banner tournament that's been kicked off today,
and will be ending on 26th. (Vote starts on 25th!)
More regarding the banner tourney later on...



New Recruits:
Only a few weeks that've passed now since our last news update,
and lots of changes came with only so little time.
Not only the website updates,
but also we were introducing a few new members to the clan.

Members such as: Brickheed, Staber, Miller, TelegramSam, Snowman and a few others
that have made their way into the clan now,
are going to brighten the future a little more, esp. with previous events.



Website stuff:
I'll try cut it short, eventhough there's been plenty in works and most of it is done now.
We've revised the Site Navigation, and it now has links to
your User CP
Video Channel
Clan Calendar (private)
Community Calendar
and a Search Function.

The Video Channel will, as you might have guessed it,
include links to most of BsE's YouTube and Dailymotion accounts and channels.
This way you can keep track of all BsE videos, incl. clan matches, montages and meets.
Enjoy the pwnage.

Also, one of our most important changes is the Navigation Bar at the top, incl. a variety
of different new pages of the website, such as Downloads, where we will have
BsE Wallpapers, PS3 Themes, Meet Pictures and Link Us Banners in the near future.

The Roster is still undone, just like the tiny white text says it so, when you click on it,
but we're trying to improve this to something more special, more appealingly
for the eye, as well as some other pages that'll get a visual kick some time.

Last, but not least, we've edited the Article forumbit, so it now splits into two sections.
One being for Reviews purely, and the other one still serves as a platform for Articles.
If you want to post an Article, related to gaming, you'd need writer permissions.
To get these please contact one of the admins.
If you want to post a Review of a game, nothing is going to stop you but a Moderation.
This means, once you submit a thread, it needs to be approved by a Mod or Admin first.



Tournaments and Ladder Progression:
With our recruitment now being completely done we can now fully concentrate on the ladders
and tournaments being held on various websites, such as ConsoleGaming & GameBattles.
If you were following us on twitter, we gave some tweets about our tournament progression
already on there. Dare I say it, but we're out of all the ones we've previously entered.

But at least with recruitment being closed, we can concentrate on what we've got right now.
We've learned from some mistakes we did during the matches and pull strings together better.
On GameBattles, both our MW2 teams are active and play as many matches as possible
and are aiming for a top 10 position on both ladders (360 & PS3).
As for ConsoleGaming, things are just getting started, and we've got some high aims for the
ladders over there as well as GameBattles, but are currently only playing CGs on PS3.
Challenge Us!:
GB: 360 --- GB: PS3 --- CG: PS3

XUnit and Betrayed are playing GB's Uncharted 2 Ladders, and are playing 2on2s
from now and then on there instead. As for the CG Tournament, again, unfortunately
we are out of there, too. The game was played against HHR and they really deserved the win.
However, we're still awaiting and accepting challenges for 2on2s on both GB and CG
until the release of Battlefield: BC2. We've also got a +3on3 team on GB,
if you want to play us on U2 on there, simply throw in a challenge here

Other/Random:
As you will have noticed, the current BsE Banner at the top of the website is advertising
for our own Banner Tournament, which anyone can enter, as long as you stick to some
requirements of course. For more info, head over here
It's also posted in the Community Calendar, and has been tweeted as well.

Borderlands. Heard of it? Know it? Even own it? Not sure whether to buy or not?
Expect a review of Borderlands by EliteGamer soon; find it in the Articles forumbit.

Our Recruitment has been set to an invitation only basis, so don't even try writing an App.,
unless you're being asked by one of our members to do so.
