In German-occupied France, Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa. Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema. Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as "The Basterds," Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own...

Tarantinos new film. Should be good, although I've sort of gone off Tarentino after realising most of his films arent that good, and that he steals other peoples ideas and traits.

tbh kill bill was supposed to be a westernized version of japanese cinema, so yeah it was nicked but he wasn't trying to hide it. I do agree though theres very few films which i've actually thought of his that were good.

saw this film last night! WOW wat a movie it is.

Arty as always, gore as usual, nasty parts makes u feel like WTF is about to happen, you really feel sorry for the Nazi's ha

its almost 3hrs long but is good. Lots of talking btw, not tooooo much action tbh.

Seen it too. Was hilarious imo! But also gripping and interesting. Yes lots of talking but every scene is pretty fun and light hearted. Gore was awesome... especially the 'Bear Jew' scenes. And the soundtrack was great too.

It's not 'the original' really. Tarantino just took the title because he liked the name. Both are WW2 films but 'Inglorious Basterds' has a completely different plot and characters from the 'The Inglorious Bastards'.

was a good film, lots of talking, but it kinda works as a good build up to all the action.

i felt sorry for the general who got the bat to the head! u could hear his breathing getting faster and more scared. good acting, then BAm, he died. build ups in this movie take the piss lol

Went to see it the other day, it was pretty good, the intensity and anticipation in some of the scenes were great, you just knew something was going to kick off.
I thought it was hyped up a little though, it's good but not Tarantino's best, don't think he'll be able to top Pulp Fiction.
