Went to my granddad's. I didn't really know him very well. It seemed like I was the only one who wasn't crying though, which was awkward...

i've been to 3, not too bad really just don't feel you need to hold anything back.
also i woldn't recommend not going if you are unsure as you will regret it.

been to 3, my italian nans(who i was close too) my great nan who lived just up the road from me and one of my friends from school back in december.

obviously sad affairs, nothing wrong with crying at them either. If you count my dogs cremation then its 4, balled my eyes out like a baby at that. We had same birthday and were the same age(16), had him all my life, still miss the old boy!

I've been at 2 funerals.

One was my Grandad's. We were both close and I was young at the time, was quite upset.

The other was my nan's. Didn't know her AS well, but was still upset.

Unless you know them reasonably well, you're not going to get upset to be honest. And like you said, you don't know her...so you've got nothing to be concerned about. Just try and comfort those that are upset I guess. :)
