Hey You guys. Im now back on The BsE Forums. My XBOX Live account got hacked but im now back online ! Please Add my Account xiClarkey My ps3 Has also just broke on me :( I Just wont read disks any more.

So i hope to see you guys on xbox.

my ps3 did the same, just send it off to sony they sent me a new 60gb one just like my original

yup i rang them up they asked me a few questions, and sent me a new one in like 5 days or sumthin i think, wel they a courrier collects the broken one and hands you a new one

Kk, Did you have a warranty on it though? Cuz apparabtley you have to have a warranty on it or they dont do anything. Ive had my PS3 For nearly 2 years now. So im gunna phone Sony tomoz n hopefully they will give me a new one.

well i had mine since release day, and this was only a couple of months ago, so i assume they will send you a new one, dont worry, they arent gonna turn around and go no we dont want you to use our product anymore as by having the ps3 means your buying games for it earning them licensing money for the console so they will want to send you one

Just spoke to Sony and they said that they are going to send me a new PS3 :)

Bloodbath, Either pay £100 for a new PS3 or £300 n summat. So i used some common sense and took the £100 offer. :)

Ninj, it is a new ps3 because we are exchanging my ps3 at my house. The bloke is coming with a brand new ps3 in its box and im exchanging mine with it.

Quiet good really.

Ok so it's not your exact PS3 but it will be a repaired one not a "brand new" one. Just like your one will now probably be repaired and given to someone else who's brakes. It's a nice little money maker on Sony's part.

if they were giving away brand new ps3's for 100 quid just because your old one broke then it would be a perfect world

and the parts put into repairs are much cheaper than original components in a brand new ps3, so its more likely to break again ha
