Defo werent a sending off, ReoCoker wouldn't got ball and stopped Torres easily. Infact fuck knows why he's even playing RB. He gave a penno away and gave the free kick away for Kuyts goal.

Didnt thin hesk and carew would work well, for some of first half they did a bit but then MON sttarted putting Heskey on the left and putting young in centre :blush:

Not sure I agree with the spurs comment flix, Spurs midfield were awesome, lennon is in pure form and jenas was quality. Thik it maybe just a case of Villa running out of steam/ideas now.

yeah i know what you mean,

it seemed like complacency, but then it mainly knuckled down to spurs being on form and villa being a bit strung out :/


villa definitely had the ability to take the win easily though, but then again spose thats true of any side really, depends on the day

Sounds a bit stupid, Shorey is an accomplished left back, young is an england international standard right back. reo Coker can graft and shit but he's not gonna solve MON's problems, f he doesn't wanna play Shorey.

Personally I have no problem against shorey.... He just took time when he arrived he wasn't going to walk into the team even when playing bad....

And that let his performances dropped and eventually just sitting on the bench and playing for the reserves.
His main problem is he has no speed, and against strikers in the prem.. it causes him to make alot of mistakes.

At Villa we also have left back syndrome... The first season our leftbacks always play horrible and come good in the second season... unfortunately for both us and shorey, I dont think we'll be seeing that although i hope we do.

The good thing is Bouma will be returning by the Man UTD game, and i hate the saying but it really will be "like a new signing" and then Young can go back to right, and I can see our defence improving alot.

Liverpool Match.. we didnt deserve to go 2-0 down at that time... but we deserved to lose 5-0... the problem is after we let that 2nd goal in, we just dropped and pretty much gave up.

On the "booing" of Gabby....
Well this was the Spurs game...

Firstly I would never boo a Villa player / A Villa team / A Villa Manager....
But I will always understand why people do.

But firstly...
It was more cheers for the substitution over boos.... The cheers were simply for the fact the manager for the first time this season made a substitution that benefited the team, by bringing of an Out of Form striker of the field.

The boos were a very minimal part of the crowd and i hate how MO'N seemed to blame every fan for this... And the boos were simply for fact those fans are bloody idiots and fickle....

Those fans don't seem to realise... Gabby is only 22, He's still developing... in 3 years, he's gone from an odd appearance to playing over 40games already this season. Which takes a bit....
The only problem with that is ... he shouldn't be playing that many... and i blame MO'N for that.. for not bringing in the right backup so gabby can have a break...

But yeah.. we still got a chance of CL... but it'll be bloody hard.. we need a result... and we need it against UTD.... which... will be somewhat difficult

I'm gutted for Villa really about slipping up like this but then I seen it coming. I didn't know who to back for the pool game as I want both to climb that one place.
