I dunno if this is new or old, i've only just seen it / heared of it just now. Looks interesting and very dark i must say.

disappointing really. looks like a cheese fest just with the names of mk characters :/ hoped theyd keep it like the 1st one since it kept to the mk feel mostly. liu kang ftw

Im confused about all this sub-zero and scorpion buisness..........hope sub-zero owns him, which i doubt he will because scorpion looks like the main character...

You probably already know that the Mortal Kombat: Rebirth video – which has over 2 million views on youtube in less than 2 days – was an attempt by a director to get a movie studio interested in funding and releasing a new Mortal Kombat film. A noble idea, seeing that the franchise has a rocky history outside of video games and the last entry – Mortal Kombat: Annihilation – came out over 10 years ago and performed worse than the original in the box office.

Hmmmm seeing as theres a Mortal Combat game coming out soon that looks decent, maybe this film may take off, doubt it now tho
