Fuck. Off.

Edit: Haha it doesn't even work. I guess no-one wants to see a bunch of trophyless wannabes gettin excited cos they actually won a game.

After this season you will have equal league trophies and Liverpool will still have more European trophies lol.

All true, but you have won the Champions League once which is way harder to retain that the old format of the European Cup (where you had to win about 4 games lol).

Edit: LOL

^Errrm no that was the old European Cup (for 4 of them).

Look, I don't even mind Liverpool compared to Chelsea and Arsenal. Gerrard is just out of this world and Torres is the best striker there is. The fans are amazing (like, the best) and they have a great history. I want Liverpool to come second in the Prem and if we get knocked out of europe I will want them to win it.

Saying that, im a red devil through and through and hence my exagerated remarks just after gettin smashed 4-1.

A Utd fan who likes Liverpool second best??

You can win the CL without winning a game actually. (in normal time that is but I know thats not what you mean)

The old format was harder to access though as only the champion or eventually the second team in a league could qualify.

Yeh well I guess in my life Arsenal have generally been the main rivals so I hate them with a passion. As for Chelsea, they tried to buy instant succes (which is different to slowly building a team so don't mention Wazza, Berba, Rio etc.) so I hate them for that reason.

And Liverpool, well they are generally pretty shit so until they start challenging in the Prem I will support them in Europe yes.

What Liverpool fans tend to forget is that Liverpool haven't won a league trophy in what? 19 years?

The 80's was a different class of football without all the money involved and the pace of football wasn't as great as it is now, fair enough Liverpool have a chance now, and they are playing very good football, but they still find it hard to challenge for the title every year, its just this year they have a bit more luck

Man utd floated on the SE, then started buying big, so they didnt buy the title in the sense that Chelsea my have but they wrent far off imo

Also, if i'm not mistaken Man Utd have only won it in the Champions League format once more than Liverpool.

You could say that. And you'd be right. But I prefer to say we have won it twice as many times as Liverpool. :P

You can get the double over us every year if it ends up with us heading for another league title and potentially another europeon cup, whilst yourselves will end the season trophyless

And if you're a real United fan you cannot possibly like Liverpool. I despise them, just brought up that way.

Not saying it's a bad thing or trying to insult in anyway, just pointing out the fact that you're not a 'local fan'. You don't have to put up with scousers every day, they're the most bitter bunch of fans there is. Us and Liverpool is probably one of the most 'intense'
rivalries in world football.

You don't know me.

Unless you have had a season ticket for about 5 years then you have seen less games than me. End of. Born in Cyprus. Moved to Manchester age 1. Both parents born in Manchester. All family from Manchester and all still live there except ONE uncle and ONE side of grandparents. I have relatives in Stretford, Altrincham, Sale, Davyhulme, Denton and Glossop. In short, I am a Mancunian and see Manchester as my home.

My mum was a baby at Wembley in 1968. I was an 8 year old child in Barcelona in 1999 - the single greatest night of my life. Been to all of the last three FA Cup Finals (United ones obv.). These are just some highlights but there are countless famous games I was at. Oh and the 5-3 at White Hart Lane in 2001.

My Grandma's old House (Where my Mum grew up - the one on the other side of the railway where there is now no house but some storage container things): http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=railway+road+stretford+manchester&sll=53.449446,-2.344294&sspn=0.013597,0.038452&gl=uk&ie=UTF8&ll=53.461882,-2.29033&spn=0.00085,0.002403&t=h&z=19

Hope this puts to rest any questions you have over me not being a 'local fan'. And of course I know what scousers are like. The accent goes right through you and they can't accept they've been shit since the '80s.
