Ahh i still love it as ever. I watch too many TV series lol. Thinkin about it, im up to date with:

24, Heroes, Prison Break, Dexter, Lost, Skins and most of Criminal Minds

Probably more but i cant think atm.

OT: I stopped watchin it at season 3 but then before s5 started, watched them all and enjoyed it. Season 5 so far has been class IMO, i know its a complete blag but it leaves so many questions unanswered and leaves a lot to think about.

Pretty much kinda. From what i figured out, its come from one of three places.

1. The island moved and it was somewhere near the artic where polar bears are.
2. The island had been back in time to ice age or w/e
3. The DHARMA INITIATIVE brought them to the island to do tests on them

Think its number 3, reasons being..

In season 5 i think, Charlotte finds polar bear bones in Tunisia, near where Locke/Ben teleport to when they move the island in time or w/e. So basically they did a travel experiment with a bear and it got teleported there me thinks.

There's been a few good episodes this season but overall I think it's just been a bit too odd and confusing, even for its own standards. Series 1 and 4 were great, I'm still undecided this season.

Back in one of the earlier seasons we got a glimp of a Giant foot from a broken statue, in the last episode that statue reappeared very briefly.

Ive seen on some lost forums that apparently its the some Greek symbol/ statue of Fertility and hence, why the most recent baby didnt die.

"The main theory that I've read is that the statue is actually a depiction of Taweret, the Egyptian "goddess of motherhood" (which would fit, given the significance of fertility on the island).

I think this is who your friend was referring to, Tim - the main part of Taweret is depicted as a hippopotamus ...

That statue also had 4 toes if I remember correctly. It was in the season 2 finale, along with a Bird that said Hurley. (subtitles have it saying hurley too) If literally everything isnt answered by the series end, I'm going to be annoyed. They shouldn't be able to just throw in random mysterious elements and then ignore them, that's just shoddy writing.

24 Is going strong, Lost is ok but I'm getting a bit bored of it as its gone bat shit crazy, by its own standards. I gave up with Heroes after volume 3 on the count of it all sucking apart from series 1. I watched the Fringe pilot but didn't watch anymore as I couldnt be bothered with another mindfuck show lol. Has anyone seen The Mentalist? just started on C5, that's pretty good, it's like a cross between House, Dexter and CSI.

It wont be jacks dad for one reason - Whenever you see jacks dad on the island he's never touched anything - because he's a ghost - thats all.

the living locke isnt a ghost - You see him eating / touching stuff etc. so it definately isn't him.

The island being the lost city of atlantis has already been discredited in so many ways, ill find the link later for that.

See the theory you posted earlier Andy, i would say thats the closest to the actual truth i reckon, cos it all made sense. Its all about time travel, no doubt about it.

Remember at the start, Jacob and another guy were sitting on the beach, watching the ship in the distance, and the other guy said, "do you now how much i want tto kill you?" and that he needs to find a loop hole, in order to do that. THEN Locke says to Jacob before killing him, ive waited so long for this moment and Jacob says, "so you finally found a loop hole". My guess, its the guy from the start, whos some how took form of Locke.

Any way, last season to tie things up, i cant wait!!!
